Facilities
at the International School of Estonia
The school is located in the central district of Tallinn.
The school currently has 2400 square meters occupying a
two-storey building. The school has a large gymnasium, and
ample playground areas for sport and break times. Older
students take their lunch meals in the cafeteria, while
Pre-school and Kindergarten students have a fixed price
meal. All students have access to hot lunches at a
reasonable rate.
The school is proud to have an eighteen-station computer
lab, with networking between stations. Most classrooms have
a standalone, or a networked PC in operation. Students
utilize computers for keyboarding and word processing
skills, composition, journalism, and graphic arts
activities.
The school also boasts a 6000-title library, which is
divided into primary, middle, and upper school sections. The
ISE is working towards automation of library facilities, and
both the library and classrooms have access to several
online databases (SIRS Knowledge Source and SIRS
Discoverer).
