Music in the
MYP at ISE
All MYP students in grades 6,7,8 come to music lessons twice
a week.
•They will explore and experience through singing and
playing on the instruments.
•They acquire and develop skills needed for performing
and creating music.
•They will reflect, appreciate and evaluate on their
work and the work of others and therefore use a
Developmental Workbook, which will be a written record of
the development of a student's work.
•MYP students are expected to visit concerts throughout
the whole year and keep a Music Appreciation Diary. By the
end of each semester it should include at least 2 concert
evaluations.
